Pike continually competes in every intramural sport offered by Virginia Tech, and prides itself in its success not only in terms of wins and losses, but in the way that Pikes carry themselves on and off the field. Pike competes in two different areas of athletics: the intramural sports that are run by VT Recreational Sports, and open to all university members, and the IFC tournaments which are 6 single-elimination tournaments held each year that are open to each Fraternity. They performed with recording artist and performer "Tippy," as well as putting on a new routine in tribute to the late Michael Jackson. Certainly nobody ever imagined that our routine would reach this kind of magnitude and the chapter hopes to continue their success in the coming semesters. A video of the original Anchorsplash routine can be found HERE. Also check the Photo Gallery for pictures from the event.

We are very proud all of our brothers who created and participated in this act and want to give a special shout out to Gregg Curtin and Brandon Sewell for all the work they put into making this year's act a sucess. Sewell's brother was kind enough to capture our performance in HD and the video can be seen HERE. After this monumental sucess, the brotherhood continued on to win the entire week of Anchorsplash after a successful showing at the pool games and synchronized swimming contests. The whole brotherhood deserves a pat on the back for all the time, money, and effort that went into this week's philanthopic events. Below is a picture of our Talent Show performance.

Side Note: In July, 16 Pike Brothers traveled to Los Angeles, California to perform for the 2009 ESPY Awards VIP after-party at LA LIVE Club Nokia. ESPN provided 16 brothers with airfare, accomidations and meals for two nights. The performance was a huge success, and part of it can be seen HERE.
